Description
The great swan begins nesting in April, often on the freezing water surface. Places for nests are selected near the water surface on a solid ground, but sometimes the nests are built directly on the water surface. The male nesting structure nests the cane by means of a beak, and branches are given to the female, which nests itself. The female wears an average of 5 to 8 eggs, each one within 48 hours. The young are hatched after 36 days, and both parents take care of them and vigorously defend against the danger. Young swans leave the nest almost after hatching, but they remain with their parents until the winter comes.
