Description
De Eendracht Maakt Macht, is a belt mill and is located in the Netherlands in Limburg village of Meterik near Horst. The mill was built in 1898-1899 by Jan Wijnhoven from Venray. During the Second World War (in 1944) the mill was badly damaged; it was restored in 1949-1950. The mill was also equipped with Van Bussel Stroomlijnwieken. On June 24, 1950, the mill was put into operation again. In 1975 the then municipality of Horst bought the windmill to protect it from demolition. In 1994 the mill moved to the Molen Eendracht Maak Macht foundation. Nowadays visitors can still experience the grinding process in reality.

Mr. Jaroslav, my dear sir, It's great to see that you have a predilection for wide open spaces. So do I. Here in Colorado we have lots of them. Your work is wonderfully inspiring, kind sir.
